Priti Academy Law College celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) on 26th November 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Swargiya Smt. Ratnidevi Sharma Auditorium in college campus, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India and honouring Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution..
The programme was attended by Trustee Shri Pritam Sharma, I/C Principal Dr. Mohit Chobdar, teaching and non-teaching staff members, and all students. The celebration aimed to deepen awareness about constitutional values, democratic ideals, and the vision that shaped modern India. The ceremony began with a collective reading of the Preamble, followed by a reflective discussion on its philosophical foundations as envisioned by Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. A key highlight of the event was the Guest Lecture delivered by Police Inspector (PI) Vijay Ahire on the topic “Birth of India’s Constitution.” PI Ahire shared valuable insights on the historical evolution of the Constitution, the drafting process, and the intellectual leadership of Dr. Ambedkar, offering students a deeper perspective on India's constitutional journey. The programme further included a Speech Competition, where students expressed their understanding of constitutional values, the Constituent Assembly debates, and Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to India's democratic structure. A short documentary screening illustrated the drafting process and legacy of the Constitution, helping students visualize the historical developments that shaped modern India. The event concluded with an Oath Ceremony, with all participants reaffirming their commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity — the foundational values of the Indian Constitution. The programme was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Mrs. Poonam Maurya, ensuring smooth execution and active student participation, making the celebration both educational and inspiring. Priti Academy Law College continues to uphold its mission of nurturing constitutional awareness, civic responsibility, and respect for democratic values through such significant observances..
