on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversaries of the father of the nation, mahatma gandhi, and former prime minister of india, shri lal bahadur shastri, the department of lifelong learning and extension (dlle) of the university of mumbai organized its prestigious annual bhajan sandhya programme. held at the historic gateway of india, the event aimed to instill enduring ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, and selfless civic dedication among the youth. upholding these immortal values, a dedicated delegation of student volunteers and faculty members from priti academy law college actively participated in the programme.

on behalf of priti academy law college, we officially confirm that our llb student volunteers and accompanying extension work teacher successfully attended the prestigious annual bhajan sandhya programme organized by the department of lifelong learning and extension (dlle), university of mumbai. complying with all institutional guidelines, our delegation participated with utmost discipline, wearing the prescribed decent white attire, carrying valid college identity cards, and fulfilling official attendance verification at the registration desk.

on the occasion of gandhi jayanti and under the nationwide 'swachhata hi seva - 2026' initiative, priti academy law college successfully organized and participated in a comprehensive cleanliness campaign highlighting the vital importance of hygiene, environmental sanitation, and civic responsibility.

the impactful event was attended by the secretary of the priti academy education society, principal, esteemed law faculty members, enthusiastic law students, and dedicated paralegal volunteers (plvs) of priti academy law college. together, the delegation engaged in community outreach, public awareness rallies, and active shramdaan (voluntary labor) organized in coordination with the ulhasnagar municipal corporation.

speakers and faculty leads emphasized that as legal professionals and students, upholding social justice goes hand in hand with maintaining clean and healthy communities. the collective efforts of students, faculty, and plvs played a monumental role in spreading the message of cleanliness, leading to the formal conferral of the certificate of appreciation by smt. manisha awhale (i.a.s., municipal commissioner) and smt. ashwini kamlesh nikam (mayor) on october 2, 2026.

2. key event participants & activities

there are souls for whom we have fewer apt words to describe their contributions in laying the foundation of a strong society and the nation. savitribai phule is one of them. along with her husband, mahatma jyotiba phule, she fought bravely against untouchability, hegemonic, castetist, status quoist forces to ensure that girls from weaker sections of society, in particular those from backward, scheduled castes and tribes, have access to education. she opened schools for them and lit the light of hope in millions of lives at a time when they did not think of getting into schools for education.

it was truly a watershed moment towards the holistic empowerment of women in our society, and savitribai phule, who epitomized ‘naari shakti,’ was the harbinger of this great revolution, which has now become a principal focus of the central and state governments. 

priti academy law college remembered the pioneer of women empowerment and celebrated the birth anniversary of respected savitribai phule on 3rd january 2025 in the presence of all teaching and non teaching staff and students.

priti academy law college organised "annual sports day-2025" on 20th december, 2025 .i.e on saturday.

the event began with the opening ceremony and by singing national anthem which binds all the ​nation together. many students from first year, second year and third year participated with great enthusiasm. differents sports were conducted like 100m running race, 100m langdi, shot put, football throw, needle and thread race, musical chair etc.

these events were organised for both boys and girls. the events were co-ordinated under the supervision of dedicated sports co-ordinators/coaches. each sport was played with great energy. the event was concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. prizes like the gold medal for winners, silver medal for 1st runners up and certificate for 2nd runners up and participation certificate for all participants was distributed. all the participants of the event like students, co-ordinators, staff and organisers enjoyed the event to its fullest.
