Priti Academy Law College successfully organized an educational visit to Mahatma Phule Chowk Police Station, Kalyan (West) on Saturday, 13th December 2025 for the F.Y. LL.B. students of Batch 2025–26 as part of their practical legal training. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to the day-to-day functioning of a police station, helping them understand the practical implementation of criminal law procedures. Students were introduced to various aspects of police administration, investigation processes, and the role of police officers within the criminal justice system..
The students were accompanied and guided by I/C Principal Dr. Mohit Chobdar, Asst. Prof. Anushka Kataria, and Asst. Prof. Shrey Bhise, ensuring smooth coordination and discipline throughout the visit. A key highlight of the visit was an interactive session conducted by Senior Police Inspector (SPI) Shri Baliram Pardeshi and Police Inspector (PI) Vijay Ahire, who shared valuable insights into the world of law and order. They explained the responsibilities, challenges, and ethical dimensions involved in policing and law enforcement, offering students a practical perspective on criminal justice administration. Students were also given awareness about the Police Mitra Application, including its purpose, features, and role in strengthening communication between citizens and the police, thereby promoting community policing initiatives. The visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Such experiential learning activities play a vital role in shaping students’ professional understanding and preparing them for their future careers as advocates.
